On January 10, 2007, we hosted a seminar for accountants and financial advisors on the Pension Protection Act of 2006 at the Fairview Country Club in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Discovering and Preventing Employee Fraud While Retaining Valued Employees
On April 18, 2007, Danziger & Markhoff LLP, together with the Ninth District Dental Association, co-hosted a half-day program on "Discovering and Preventing Employee Fraud While Retaining Valued Employees" at Abigail Kirsch's Tappan Hill in Tarrytown, NY. Presentation topics included "The Five Most Common Employee Frauds in a Dental Practice", "Steps to Take Once Fraud is Suspected or Discovered", "Retaining Your Valued Employees" and "Recruiting Suitable Personnel for Your Dental Practice".

On November 12, 2007, Michael Markhoff lectured on estate planning to the Greater Danbury Dental Society.
On October 29, 2007, Michael Markhoff spoke at the annual meeting of the Academy of Periodontology Foundation on estate planning for dentists.
On October 27, 2007, Michael Markhoff was a panelist at a program entitled "Hudson Valley Estate Planning Day" sponsored by the Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council at SUNY New Paltz where he discussed estate planning with trusts.
On October 16, 2007 Harris Markhoff and Michael Markhoff presented "Protecting Your Assets from Malpractice & Other Claims" to The Bank of New York Mellon.
Harris Markhoff, Michael Markhoff, Stan Bulua, Jay Fenster and Ira Langer discussed "How to Protect Your Client's Assets From Creditors" at a seminar sponsored by The Bank of New York on June 20, 2007.
On May 31,2007, Harris Markhoff and Michael Markhoff participated in the 17th Annual Westchester Estate, Tax & Financial Planning Conference where they discussed "Drafting Corporate Buy/Sell Agreements".
Michael Markhoff participated in a New York State Bar Association seminar entitled "Trust Your Planning: A Comprehensive Review of Trust Planning and Drafting Techniques" on May 16, 2007. He discussed the advantages and disadvantages of revocable trusts.
